ScentBlocker Safari update Linksfontein camp

Holy cow has this time flown by! Sorry no updates everyone but we've simply been too far out into the bush for decent WIFI connection. We have had an amazing experience in Africa. At the Linksfontein camp all sorts of lasting memories were formed. Some highlights include Wyatt (Scott's grandson) 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th bowkills:) Young Wyatt is a chip off the old block and shoots better than most adults I've seen. I'm amazed at the relationship he and Scott have and have learned so much about proper shooting form by spending time with them both.

Leigh and Travis from ScentBlocker's The Chase spent time with us as well at Linksfontein. Leigh went for the Springbok grand slam (common, copper, black, and white) while Travis chased monster Kudu through the Kalahari.

Jay and Michelle from the ATA are also along on our adventure. They are both wonderful archers and shot enormous Kudu that I'll never forget- because I was lucky enough to be hunting with them:)

Guy and Fred from Wasp archery also invited me along on an incredible adventure. The living legend Johnny Vivier himself, plus PH Phillip led us three Cape Buffalo rookies on the hunt of a lifetime. Let me just say this- you know you're living when staring an angry Cape Buffalo in the eye at 40 yards! Thank God Fred hit his target. This hunt was truly one I'll never forget.

And of course- I had a chance to hunt South Africa's national animal- the Springbok! I got a beauty and Scott and PH Johan initiated me the traditional African way- twice:) Oh well- that was a memory we'll always share together.

Scott took a beautiful Sable that we're going to write more about later because his hunt itself deserves an entire post. Nicole McClain was able to harvest a gorgeous Kudu and also an Impala later in the week too. And of course, Bob and Larry from ScentBlocker's Most Wanted have shot just about one of everything. More to come about those later as well. There's so much to write about and many wonderful pictures to share, but with very limited time and connection now I'll sign off. Next up... our adventures at Gamagara lodge!
