Fresh Herb Marinade for a Venison Backstrap

1/2 cup fresh chopped Rosemary and Basil
8 garlic cloves minced
1/2cup soy sauce
1 cup water
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp mustard seeds
2 Tbsp honey
Sea salt and cracked pepper

Start by applying the olive oil on the backstrap. Layer all the above ingredients directly to the meat.
Allow to sit overnight in fridge. Before grilling on charcoal bring backstrap to room temperature. Grill to your liking and make sure to cover and rest the backstrap 15 minutes before slicing thinly.
Enjoy with some fresh wild mushrooms!
