Bamboo

Bamboo derived fiber is used to create a superior textile that is preferred for active and outdoor apparel use. It outperforms traditional cotton on every level. Bamboo is an ultra lightweight technical fabric with unbelievable next-to-skin feel. Bamboo is softer than cotton with a texture similar to silk. It is quick to wick away moisture, therefore keeping you dry and aiding in odor control. Bamboo clothing can dry up to twice as fast as cotton clothes. Bamboo clothes are well suited for year-round wear as they naturally regulate temperature to help keep you cool in the summer and act as an excellent insulator when worn as a first layer in the winter.

Downpour

Hydrophilic membranes control the micro-climate inside the garment by absorbing and dissipating sweat through the diffusion of water vapor molecules. Downpour™ hydrophilic membranes have a solid structure that physically stops water passing through the membrane. The chemical structure of the membrane is made up of hydrophilic (water loving) groups that attract water vapor molecules. Driven by greater heat and water vapor density, the water vapor molecules move from one hydrophilic group to the next (somewhat like stepping stones).

Durable Water Repellency

The outer fabric is treated with a water repellant hydrophobic coating which forces water to bead up and roll off the surface of the fabric. It extends the saturation point of the fabric and allows you to stay comfortable and in the field longer.

Italian Wool

For hundredsof years fine grades of wool have come from sheep raised in the mountains of Italy. We have taken this marvelous wool and blended it with a sythetic yarn (acrylic) in order to improve the moisture management properties and dry times. It is soft, warm and guaranteed not to itch.

Lycra®

The stretch nylon - Lycra from Invista - has the best zero point elasticity rating of any stretch nylon on the market today. Meaning used in our socks they will keep their shape and stay snug longer.

Merino™ Wool

Merino wool is a high performance fine wool that provides natural temperature regulation and moisture management. It is a sustainable resource and one of the worlds super performance fibers that has been time tested. Textile science has allowed us to refine wool to the point that it’s comfortable to wear and easy to care for.

Micro-Wick™ Technology

Contains a unique moisture wicking element to disperse moisture away from the skin to keep you dry and better regulate temperatures and enhance comfort.

Modal®

Modal® is extracted from beech wood and is 100% natural. The Modal fiber production is conducted in accordance with the principle of sustainability. Modal® as a yarn is extraordinarily soft and has a superb ability to manage moisture. We believe Modal's® ability to keep your feet dry far exceeds that of any other yarn - synthetic or natural.

RainBlocker® Technology

Waterproof, windproof, breathable technology which is impermeable to outside moisture, while allowing perspiration from the inside and dispersing it through the membrane system. Garment seams are heat sealed and secured with waterproof tape.

S3™ Technology

S3 products utilize antimicrobial technology which helps to inhibit the growth of odor causing bacteria. S3 keeps the garment smelling fresher longer.

Ti4

Utilizing the incredible power of Titanium Dioxide Ti4™ produces hydroxyl radicals, which are powerful oxidizing agents. They react with the organics, found in odors, and reduce them to harmless, odorless compounds. The long lasting odor eliminating effect retains these properties even after washing. After it is applied and the moisture evaporates, a residual of Titanium Dioxide remains.
