When temperatures plunge, our 4WD Glacier™ focuses on ome simple function: warming your core without the added bulk. Our 4WD Glacer™ provides amazing warmth with low-bulk, hydropphobic, highly compressible 4WD™ Thermore® insulation that traps heat with remarkable efficiency. The outer shell is made of Polyester Micro Woven fabric that is peached and treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellency). The micro and peaching provide a fabric that is a non-shiny matte finish that is soft to the touch and very quiet. Other down or synthetic insulated garments may have a slippery, shiny, noisy shell. This fabric was selected specifically with the hunter in mind. The DWR forces water to bead up on the shell fabric while the 4WD™ Insulation (4 Weather Dry) also protects you from wind, rain, sleet and snow. The S3® antimicrobial technology helps keep the garment smelling fresh over longer periods of time. Ideal for System Layer Two in colder weather when sitting or as the final outer piece when on the move. The quilted, highly compressible insulation also packs down to practically nothing and can stuff into a pack for storage.
