The scent is infused into the powder on a molecular level with a natural occurring mineral. It will not break down into ammonia and becomes reactivated when it rains or snows. The delivery system is key. When the powder is dispensed it keeps the distribution of scent to a minimum to peak deer interest.

Making a scrape is simple, use rubber boots and gloves. Try to avoid any human odor contamination. Pick an area that reflects signs of buck activity. Clear oval area away of debris down to bare dirt with rubber boots or branch; apply a few puffs of powder directly on scrape and a puff on overhanging licking branch.
