EXPS1.jpgSystem Layer One:  Also called a baselayer, it’s the first layer of clothing directly contacting your skin.  Being your first layer of defense, Scent Shield® utilizes S3® antimicrobial technology to aid in odor control and inhibit the growth of bacteria, keeper garments fresh over longer periods of time.  Garments included under System Layer One consist of Bamboo, Nylon, Spandex and Merino Wool fabrics.  Designed to wick away moisture and keep you dry.

System Layer Two:  This layer consists of mid/insulating layers 4WD_MOI_BIG1.jpgdesigned to trap and hold body heat.  S3® antimicrobial technology and Activated Carbon are at work in this System Layer to help adsorb human odor and give you increased scent control.  The mid/insulating layers provide protection against the elements and a looser fit.  In conjunction with System Layer One garments you have increased temperature regulation and scent control.  Depending on the weather, you may utilize multiple pieces from System Layer Two to keep you warm and comfortable.  Garments under System Layer Two consist of Tactical Cottons, XLT™, 4WD™ and Ion Fleece garments.

System Layer Three:  This layer consists of our outer layers, designed for concealment and protection against the elements.  This layer can vary based on the location or time of the year.  Warmer temperatures call for extremely breathable fabrics and lightweight construction.  The colder and harsher the elements, the more our increased need for wind, rain and added insulation protection becomes important.  Many of the garments under System Layer Three include integrated designs that work in conjunction with many of the System Layer 2 pieces.  Garments under System Layer Three include the Silent Shell, Pro Fleece, RainBlocker, and Downpour.

ScentBlocker® has strategically developed a layering system for increased scent control and body temperature management throughout the season.  Take the System Layer challenge and see what systems help you bag your next giant.
