African Game
Cape Eland from last SA trip 2009 to Ingogo Safaries, PH Johan allowed me to take this amazingly old battered up fighter at over 300 yards, dropped with one shot with a 375 Ruger. Weighed around 1,700 lbs and was estimated to be over 15 years old.
Warthog taken on my first African safari in South Africa's Eastern Cape. Also took Gemsbok, Impala and Kudu.
Me and a nice Impala, killed in the East Cape area of RSA, in May. Rifle used is my model 88 Winchester in 308. Load was 150gr Barnes Ttsx bullet,, and 48 grs of IMR 4895. Shot was from about 50 yards.
